Tescia Seufferlein is an interdisciplinary artist and costume designer. Originally from Palo Alto, CA, she is a classically trained painter and holds a BA in the Practice of Art with an emphasis on theatre, dance, and performance from the University of California at Berkeley. She has exhibited nationally with shows in New York City and San Francisco and her work has appeared in the Brooklyn Rail and Hyperallergic. Tess spent ten years as a costume designer on Broadway before returning to California to earn an MFA from California College of the Arts in San Francisco. She is a founder of Borderline Collective, an artist run studio and exhibition space. Tess currently lives and works in Oakland, CA.
